A New Church is Born
Centro Cristiana Familiar (The Family Christian Center)
- On a warm Sunday morning, April 19th 2008, Becky
and Darrell
held the first home church meeting in their living room. Their focus
is ministering to the entire family. Soon Kids Church was being held
on the larger front porch while the Youth and Adults were singing
praise and worship to the strums of an old guitar.
- By the first of June they had out grown their house. Kids
church is now held on a 10 acre botanical garden on loan from the
"Casa Cultural." in the heart of the nicest colony in town.
The partially built Cultural Center serves as a great meeting
hall. On one special event it held more than 1200 kids.
- Every Saturday night they hold youth service for some 40 - 60 young people. Powerful preaching, exhilarating games, exuberant singing and community contacts are all a part of the program.
- Saturday Morning is probably the most notable ministry as adolescents reached in the Public School Project are taught how to be young soldiers of the cross. Evangelism, Discipleship and Worship are the focus of this time.
- Tuesday Night is Prayer Service still be held from house to house. This is where the victory is won. Pray to the Lord of the Harvest!
